Hello, my name is Jan Perera. I have been tutoring for over 15 years, helping children and adults build confidence, master skills, and achieve success in exams. I work with students of all ages, from those preparing for the 11+ exams to learners tackling KS1–KS3 Maths and English, as well as adults completing Functional Skills qualifications.
I believe every learner is unique, so I tailor my lessons to suit individual needs, creating a friendly and supportive environment that makes learning effective and enjoyable. I offer face-to-face lessons in High Wycombe and online sessions for students across the UK and worldwide.

With a strong accountancy background, I bring a practical and structured approach to teaching, especially in Maths. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve helped students of all ages achieve their academic goals — from preparing for the 11+ entrance exams, guiding pupils through KS1–KS2 Maths and English, to supporting older students with KS3 Maths and adult learners with Functional Skills qualifications.
My extensive experience allows me to understand the challenges students face and provide lessons that are clear, structured, and tailored to each individual, helping them build confidence, develop essential skills, and achieve lasting success.
